A small but weighty treatise from Shaykh al-Islām Muḥammad ibn ʿAbd al-Wahhāb (raḥimahullāh) outlining six mighty principles of the religion of Islām. These principles are: Tawḥīd — Allah's sole right of worship; unity in the religion upon the Book and the Sunnah; unity behind those in authority over the Muslims by hearing and obeying in what constitutes good; recognising the true scholars and jurists; recognising the true Awliyā' (pious allies) of Allah; and a refutation of a doubt invented to turn people away from acting upon the Qur'an and the Sunnah.

These principles constitute signs by which Allah's greatness is manifested and known. They have been explained by Allah in a clear and unambiguous manner such that even the common person can grasp them — yet many have erred with respect to them.
