Kitab At Tawhid matn - كتاب التوحيد متن

About This Book

Kitab at-Tawhid (Kitāb al-Tawḥīd alladhī huwa Ḥaqq Allāh ʿalā al-ʿAbīd, "The Book of Tawhid, Which Is the Right of Allah Upon His Servants") is the foundational Arabic matn (core text) on Islamic creed by the reviver Imam Shaykh Muhammad ibn ʿAbd al-Wahhāb (d. 1206 AH), may Allah have mercy on him. It is one of the most widely studied books of Tawhid and Salafi aqeedah in the world.

The author arranges the book into short chapters, each opening with verses of the Qur'an, authentic hadith, and narrations from the Salaf. The chapters explain the virtue of Tawhid, the call to Tawhid, the dangers of major and minor shirk, reliance upon Allah (tawakkul), showing off (riya'), magic, amulets, and swearing by other than Allah, among many other essential topics.

This edition is verified (taḥqīq) by Dagash Ajmi, and published by Dar al-Majd (دار المجد) in 396 pages. It is an ideal base text for students beginning their study of aqeedah, for review and memorization, and for study circles that go on to read the classical commentaries such as Fath al-Majid, al-Qawl al-Mufid, and I'anat al-Mustafid.
