About This Book

Al-Aqeedah al-Wasitiyyah (al-ʿAqīdah al-Wāsiṭiyyah) is the famous concise creed (matn) of Shaykh al-Islām Aḥmad ibn ʿAbd al-Ḥalīm ibn Taymiyyah (d. 728 AH), may Allah have mercy on him. It sets out the creed of Ahl as-Sunnah wal-Jamāʿah in a clear, compact form, and it is among the most widely studied and memorized texts of Salafi aqeedah.

The text explains belief in Allah, His angels, His Books, His Messengers, the Last Day, and divine decree (Qadar). It affirms the Names and Attributes of Allah as they came in the Qur'an and Sunnah, without distortion, denial, asking "how", or likening Allah to His creation, and it presents the position of Ahl as-Sunnah regarding the Companions and the way of the Salaf.

This Arabic edition is verified (taḥqīq) by Dagash al-Ajmi (دغش العجمي) and runs 141 pages. It is a base text for students of aqeedah, ideal for study with a teacher, review, and memorization, and for study circles that go on to read the explanations of scholars such as Shaykh Ibn al-ʿUthaymīn, Shaykh Ibn Bāz, and Dr. Muḥammad Khalīl Harrās.

العقيدة الواسطية متن مختصر مشهور لشيخ الإسلام أحمد بن عبد الحليم ابن تيمية (ت 728هـ) رحمه الله، بيّن فيه عقيدة أهل السنة والجماعة بعبارة واضحة موجزة، وهو من أكثر متون العقيدة السلفية دراسةً وحفظاً.

يتناول الإيمان بالله وملائكته وكتبه ورسله واليوم الآخر والقدر، ويثبت أسماء الله وصفاته كما جاءت في الكتاب والسنة من غير تحريف ولا تعطيل ولا تكييف ولا تمثيل، ويبيّن موقف أهل السنة من الصحابة ومنهج السلف.

هذه الطبعة بتحقيق دغش العجمي، وتقع في 141 صفحة. وهي مناسبة لطلبة العلم للدراسة والمراجعة والحفظ.
