Sharh Kashf al-Shubuhat & al-Usool al-Sittah — شرح كشف الشبهات والأصول الستة — Shaykh Muhammad ibn Salih al-Uthaymeen
This book contains Shaykh Ibn Uthaymeen's explanations of two foundational treatises by Imam Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab (d. 1206 AH), combined in a single volume.
The first is Kashf al-Shubuhat (The Removal of Doubts) — one of the most important short texts ever written on Tawhid. In it, Imam Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab dismantles the arguments used by those who justify shirk, exposing the doubts (shubuhat) that lead people to worship other than Allah while claiming to be Muslim. He demonstrates that the mushrikeen of Quraysh acknowledged Allah as their Creator and Provider yet still fell into shirk — the same pattern repeated by those who direct worship to the graves, the awliya', and the righteous dead. Shaykh Ibn Uthaymeen's sharh unpacks every argument with clarity, leaving no room for confusion on this critical topic.
The second is al-Usool al-Sittah (The Six Fundamental Principles) — a concise treatise outlining six core principles that every Muslim must understand regarding the obligation of following the truth, the danger of division, the necessity of obeying those in authority, the distinction between true scholars and false claimants to knowledge, and the importance of distinguishing the awliya' of Allah from the awliya' of Shaytan. Shaykh Ibn Uthaymeen explains each principle with supporting evidences and practical application.
Arabic, hardcover. Two essential texts on Tawhid and Manhaj explained by one of the greatest scholars of the modern era — in one volume.
