Kitab as-Salah (كتاب الصلاة) by Imam Ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyyah (691–751 AH) is the Imam's well-known treatise on the prayer, often printed under the title as-Salah wa Hukm Tarikiha. In it Ibn al-Qayyim discusses the status of the salah in Islam, the ruling on the one who abandons it, the evidences of the scholars on this question, and the manner in which the prayer should be performed, drawing on the Qur'an, the Sunnah and the statements of the Salaf.

This is the Dar Ataat al-Ilm critical edition, volume 19 of the series Athar al-Imam Ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyyah wa ma Lahiqaha min A'mal, verified by Adnan ibn Safakhan al-Bukhari according to the methodology approved by Shaykh Bakr ibn Abdillah Abu Zayd (rahimahullah). The Athar series is widely regarded as the most reliable modern edition of Ibn al-Qayyim's works.
